Meet Simon Perini, the newest member to our Grass is Greener family. Simon is a surfer / photographer who lives in a suburb called Thirroul, an hour south of Sydney, Australia- that randomly contacted us last week, inquiring about a spot in our family. After reviewing the following photos (these are all ten photos this protogé sent over..) how could we not be enthralled with our newest addition- to say the least! Simon is a young chap whose photography is focused on the love riding waves, focused on the purity in our lifestyle, and captures the emotion all of us as surfers experience in our day to day lives.. though his words simply put it best.. "My motivation for photography is simply capturing the beauty and wonder of life - which tends to be nicely defined in the sea and sliding. i love surf art in all it's forms." His outlook and vision are incredibly refreshing and keep all viewers returning, and waiting for more. Though he is currently website-less, be sure to keep checking back here at GiG for updates on his new projects, new photos (some featured on shortstraw), and the launch date of his up and coming blog- as we're sure it will be nothing but mind-blowing. Welcome home Simon, this is gonna be epic.dig~
